Hungarian passport holders born outside of Hungary are ineligible for ESTA and require a valid visa to travel to the United States.

    Visa required if the person visited Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Syria, Libya, Somalia or Yemen after March 1, 2011, or if he/she also holds citizenship in any of these countries.

Pre-arranged Visa Required

18 destinations require a visa obtained at an embassy or consulate prior to arrival from passport holders of Hungary. This requirement may be waived off if Hungarian citizens meet certain alternate requirements such as holding other visas or resident permits.
