Visa On Arrival
A visa can be obtained upon arrival at 30 destinations for passport holders of British Virgin Islands.

Virgin Islander passport allows entry to 13 destinations with an eVisa obtained prior to arrival.
Pre-arranged Visa Required
61 destinations require a visa obtained at an embassy or consulate prior to arrival from passport holders of British Virgin Islands. This requirement may be waived off if Virgin Islander citizens meet certain alternate requirements such as holding other visas or resident permits.

Holders of a British non-citizen passport who can provide evidence of the right to reside permanently in the United Kingdom may be granted a Visitor Visa current for six months on arrival, subject to meeting character requirements and providing that the purposes of the visit do not include medical consultation or treatment. Electronic Travel Authority must be obtained prior to departure.
Holders of an Australian Permanent Resident Visa or Resident Return Visa may be granted a New Zealand Resident Visa on arrival permitting indefinite stay (pursuant to the Trans-Tasman Travel Arrangement), subject to meeting character requirements and obtaining an Electronic Travel Authority prior to departure.

British Virgin Islands passport holders can travel to United States Virgin Islands and then continue travel to other parts of the United States if they present a Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Department indicating no criminal record.
