A visa can be obtained upon arrival at 21 destinations for passport holders of Algeria.

123 destinations require a visa obtained at an embassy or consulate prior to arrival from passport holders of Algeria. This requirement may be waived off if Algerian citizens meet certain alternate requirements such as holding other visas or resident permits.

Algerian visitors who travel on cruise ships that disembark at any Mexican port to visit the port and surrounding zones and embark on the same ship to continue their voyage, do not require a visa and will have collective permission under the category of “visitor without permission to conduct remunerated activities”, for a period of 21 calendar days.
