- eVisa30 daysDue to SARS-CoV-2, Vietnamese government was stopped issuing the travel visas to the ordinary passport holders of Chinese citizens, including Hong Kong and Macau SAR passport holders. The e-visa application has been resumed for application to Hong Kong and Macau Chinese passport holders from 8 February 2020.

On-Arrival visa or an electronic visa / authorization is available to passport holders of 3 countries to travel to Vietnam.
Pre-arranged Visa Required
Prior to arrival at Vietnam, passport holders of 112 countries must obtain a visa at their corresponding consulate of Vietnam. Additional travel conditions (such as Visas to other countries) may waive this requirement.

Visa on arrival at Hanoi (HAN) for holders of a confirmation from the Vietnamese Immigration (Ministry of Public Security) that a visa has been approved before departure
Visa on arrival at Hanoi (HAN), Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), Da Nang (DAD), or Nha Trang (CXR) airports for a maximum stay of 3 months for holders of a confirmation from the Consular Department (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) that a visa has been approved before departure

Disagreements between Vietnam and 1 country have imposed restrictions in traveling to Vietnam.

Due to SARS-CoV-2, Vietnamese government stops issuing the travel visas to the ordinary passport holders of Chinese citizens, including Macau and Hong Kong SAR passport holders. The visa policy would be reviewed at mid-February 2020.
